Sheet Music for Wedding and Event Musicians
Weddings, receptions, and corporate gigs run on cues: the processional starts when the doors open, not when the page is ready. Page Turner keeps the whole program on your tablets, switches every player to the next piece with one tap, and keeps working at venues with no signal.
How It Works for Event Musicians
- Build the program in order, one PDF per piece (prelude, processional, readings, recessional), and upload them all at once. You become the leader.
- The rest of the ensemble joins by QR code or room code before the event.
- On cue, tap Next Piece ▶, or tap any piece in the set list, and everyone switches together.
- A last-minute request? Tap + Add PDFs… in the set list and choose Add & Show Now.
Setup Tips for Event Musicians
- Assume the venue has no Wi-Fi. Open the room on every device the day before or in the parking lot, and check that the set list says every piece is saved. Saved music opens and pages turn without a signal, and everyone catches up when the connection returns.
- Build the room within 24 hours of the event. A room closes 24 hours after a piece was last added or shown, so set it up the day before.
- A part for each player. A duo reading one score needs nothing more. A string quartet reading separate parts can add a part for each player in ☰ → Set List → + Add a Part: each player turns their own pages, and the next piece still comes up for everyone on cue.
- Plan for outdoor ceremonies. Turn the screen brightness all the way up for sun, and use a sturdy tablet stand with a holder that grips the tablet in wind. The stage and outdoors guide covers glare, heat, and battery for a long day.
- Go hands-free. A Bluetooth pedal lets the leader turn pages without stopping.
- Name the room after the event, like Smith Wedding - Ceremony, so everyone knows they're in the right place.
Questions From Event Musicians
The processional runs long. Can we loop it?
Yes. The leader types a page number to jump back to the top of the section, and every player's screen jumps with them. For written repeats and codas, set the play order once in ☰ → Repeats & Jumps; see repeats and codas in digital sheet music.
Can we reuse the same ceremony music every weekend?
Yes. In ☰ → Set List, tap Save This Set List, and start each event's room from it on the home page, then add the couple's requests. If you sign in, saved set lists are on every device you sign in on. In a room with parts, every part is saved too.
The couple sent their song as a screenshot. Can we use it?
Yes, once it's a PDF. Convert the images to one PDF with the free tools on your phone or computer, then add it to the set list. For printed music, see how to scan sheet music into a PDF.
Before You Share Music
Only share music you have the rights to use, such as public-domain works, your own arrangements, or music you've bought where the publisher allows digital copies. Much ceremony repertoire is public domain; see where to find free sheet music.
